Egg is traditionally associated with birth. The Easter egg is a traditional symbol of birth and commonly given as a gift and blessing on the occasion of Easter. Apart from this, despite of some misunderstandings from the patients, eggs are highly nutritious and can provide patients with lung cancer to get just the nutrients they need. On 13th April, as Easter approaches, “A Breath of Hope” is going to hold an Easter Cooking Workshop on the theme of eggs to send our own blessings to patients.
Instructor Ms. Celia Chan will demonstrate several 2 egg recipes. Dr. Angus Leung, a clinical oncologist, will also be there to address other medical concerns while Ms. Sally Poon will explain the nutritional value of eggs and provide advice on healthy eating for cancer patients. Join us in celebrating Easter with “A Breath of Hope”.
Each patient may bring up to two family members to join the workshop.
