“A Breath of Hope” Snow-skin Mooncake Workshop for Lung Cancer Patients
Date: Saturday, 8 September 2018 (2:30pm – 5:30pm)Location: Unit B, 10/F, Speedy Industrial Building, 114 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon
Guest & Instructor: Dr. Stephen Yau (Clinical Oncologist), Ms. Celia Chan (Chef)
As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, many of us will be looking forward to sharing mooncakes with families and friends. However, many patients with lung cancer are not able to eat mooncakes sold in the market. So this year why not learn to make your own mooncakes that can be shared with everyone?
Our free snow-skin mooncake workshop is tailored for lung cancer patients and their families and friends. Mooncake chef Ms. Celia Chan will demonstrate how to make delicious mooncakes with two healthy fillings. Dr. Stephen Yau, a clinical oncologist, will also be there to provide advice on healthy eating and to address other medical concerns.
Each patient may bring at most two family members to join this workshop.
Deadline for enrollment: Friday, 31 August 2018
